July 8, 201015 yr I'm curious too. I'd like a plane that's like the Concorde with variable wings. If it's FBW like the F18 superbug (great plane) I wouldn't be as interested. If you could "bomb" things (i.e. operate weapons) that would be a big plus. Anyone have an idea?
July 8, 201015 yr I'll go ahead and add a link for our friends who don't know where this one is. Sure does look nice.http://www.virtavia.com/ Jeremy "rightseater" Fletcher
July 8, 201015 yr Bought it but not much flying time yet. Certainly not a study-sim by any stretch. Uses default GPS, autopilot ect. Model and VC look good, light on frames, only 2d panels are default radio stack/gps. No multi stage lighting in the VC unlike their BN2 Islander. I'd say about 30% of the VC is clickable but I haven't gone through and tried everything yet.
October 29, 201015 yr This B-1B is probably the best aircraft i have seen so far for FSX. You dont have to be running a monster machine to fly this aircraft with excellent framerates. I am personally a real-world USAF veteran with 10 years of maintence and avionics on the B-1 and can tell you that the cockpit is VERY realistic.. Yes, it does have the stock GPS, but the autopilot is realisticly modelled with 7-8 modes of operatation. The two systems that have noticed that arent replicated on the aircraft is the Fuel Center of Gravity Management System (FCGMS) and the Terrain Following Radar system, but that is due to limitations within FSX and not the aircraft.. i give it 9 out of 10.. I only gave it a nine because it comes without a manual.. This plane is a MUST ADD to your FSX aircraft library..
