Window 7 Direct X 11 June update....

Featured Replies

For those interested, there is a June Direct X 11 update. I installed it and am having no issues as a result. It might help some that are experiencing CTD issues or FSX menu hangs. Go to the Microsoft Direct X site and download/run the the Direct X setup installer.

FSX doesn't use DX11...??

Yes...but DX11 is backwards compatible...so in a sense, it does use part of what it needs! Keeping it up to date is always a good idea.

I am myself have a machine devoted to FSX, but there are others who have more than flight sims installed on their machines. Hard to believe, I know, but its true! :( :(
