I never had the pleasure of playing the Sonalyst sims. Is Dangerous Waters any good, or should I go for another one? Ubi made a few decent sims back in the day, IL-2, LOMAC, and Silent Hunter 1, 2, 3 and 4. For armor I suggest for modern armor combat Steel Beasts (Pro PE if possible). I've been thinking about Panzer Elite (Special Edition, not Action) and possibly T-34 vs Tiger and Steel Fury for WWII as well. For naval strategy/simulation, I personally play Harpoon 3 ANW.

I installed the Dangerous Waters demo onto my laptop and it played really well even with integrated graphics. I like how it played even if the graphics were not photo real or drop dead georgeous. Once I installed it on my desktop though, it was virtually unplayable as it apparently doesn't like a true DX10 GPU. I need to rebuild my old Athlon XP system and drop a DX9 GPU in it so I can play it.

Crap, that rules out my system. I guess I'll wait for a sale on it then for minimal damage if it does not work.
