July 12, 201015 yr Hi Everyone,Thought I'd start a new topic, since it may have gotten lost in the other.I downloaded the file for Grantley Adams International Airport for FSX, the one listed below. http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...ch&Cookie=1I installed the software into FSX and it has been added to my scenery.cfg file. The addon freeware airport shows up just fine. However, I have a problem. I am unable to land and/or takeoff without the Level-D aircraft crashing while using FS Passengers. Can someone who has the level-D 767 and FSPassengers try to land and depart from this freeware airport and tell me if the aircraft crashes during takeoff and/or landing.Thank youAnyone else have this problem?. If so, is there a known fix or workaround?.Thanks Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck
July 12, 201015 yr Mike I just replied on your other one before seeing this. There are invisible boxes in the scenery that cause the crashes. You need to turn off Crashes and Damage for now. I think FS Pax turns it on automatically. Regards, Max (YSSY) i7-12700K | Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB 3600MHz DDR4 | Gigabyte RTX4090 24Gb | Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 | Corsair HX1200 PSU
July 12, 201015 yr Author Hi,Thanks for the info, I'd rather not turn off crashes/damage. I've uninstalled the airport and downloaded the freeware TBPB airport from BluePrint, everything works fine now. July 12, 201015 yr Author Hi,Well, BluePrints textures surrounding the airport look terrible, so I uninstalled that as well. Are there any other freeware/payware options?. Right now I'm using TBPB from Striking Software/PW Sceneries.orIs there a way to remove these invisible boxes from Max's scenery?. July 12, 201015 yr Moderator Hi,Well, BluePrints textures surrounding the airport look terrible, so I uninstalled that as well.If you want you can remove just the photoreal ground texture that surrounds the airport. It will most likely be a bgl called XXXX_ground.bgl. In all the BluePrint sceneries I have run, I always remove the photoreal ground that it comes with since, in my opinion, it always looks way out of place. July 12, 201015 yr Author Hi,I have Airport Wizard and Instant Scenery 2. Are there any exterior bgl objects that are available via download that will give me additional objects other than the ones installed in FSX?.I've been fooling around with these two programs on TBPB, it may not be the way it is in real life but the airport sure is busy now. Thanks Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck
July 12, 201015 yr Moderator Yeah, there are additional library objects you can download. I think I saw some here in the Avsim library.BTW, did you try the BluePrint version with the photoreal ground they include? If you take that and added some more stuff to it, it may suffice until something better comes along. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
July 13, 201015 yr Author Hi,I tried BluePrint's TBPB but I don't like their ground.bgl file. I renamed the ground file bak, but it now has objects in the grass. Guess I'll keep what I have and hope someone comes out with a good payware version. Yeah, there are additional library objects you can download. I removed the ground file as well, but didn't remember any objects on the grass, but its been a long time since I have been there. Perhaps LatinVFR or TropicalSim will do a version of that airport. Or you could just turn off crashe detection for your flights to that one airport and use the version by Max, then turn crash detection back on when you leave that airport. Would only take you a second to turn it on a off and. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
