July 13, 201015 yr I have created a 'startup' situation in FSX with the plane parked at Heathrow and only the APU running. However, when opening the FMGC to create a new flightplan, the one from the last flight is still loaded and I cannot find a way to clear it and start again.(On the INIT page, I cannot clear (CLR) or overwrite the from/to line, route, etc.....)Am I missing something obvious? Thanks for any ideas.Toni.

Im sure that the FMGC is very much the same in that regard

July 13, 201015 yr I have created a 'startup' situation in FSX with the plane parked at Heathrow and only the APU running.Generally, I understand your desire for such a default situation, but as for any complex airliner add-on goes it's not a great idea to do so due to FS limitations.Better: Make up a default flight using a very simple stock aircraft (doesn't really matter if C172 or B747, just should be stock or non complex add-on, but take a stock one to be on the safe side, seriously, since you never know...). Then load up FS with that situation. Afterwards, load up your favourite complex add-on, whatever it is. Should save you lots of trouble anyways, generally speaking.Just a suggestion. Good luck! :(Etienne
July 13, 201015 yr hiyou MUST have a cold and dark situation to start the bus, so turn off APU and batterie switches first. This will blank the INIT FMGC pagesthen turn bat. and APU on : the FMGC is ready for a new flightBut, usualy, you can simply overwrite the departure/arrival field in the INIT A with correct airport tags, no matter the starting situation...
