g2s.dll errors

Featured Replies

Been having a nightmare lately with some G2D.dll crashes. My current set of problems began with OOM errors, and then progressed to and fe.dll error, and now has become strictly g2d.dll errors. I've tried everything I can think of and now I'm going to try and install all of my original fs2004 textures files. I know they're on the FS2004 CD4, all in separate folders, etc.... but does anyone have an idea of how I may do this faster than going through all that trouble? Shot in the dark... thanks for any help- daniel

Presumably you have eliminated the possibility it relates to a specific user aircraft? Software crashes credited to g2d.dll often relate to a panel issue. Also, you may find parts of the following discussion useful - it suggests modifying certain computer settings to resolve the g2d.dll issue:http://forums.surclaro.com/ftopic6113.htmlJohn

@ Joe: Thanks, this is exactly what I need! Wonderful!@ John: I've been trying to account for all the possibilities, and going through them systematically. It had been working perfectly up until a few weeks ago, so the hardware fixes I'm trying to stay away from. As for the panel: I'm trying a few things there, too. It's a real pain to try and track down... thanks for the link and your help.
