Loal time and GMT time not sync

Featured Replies

My PC time settings are all perfect. The problem is how I reset the time synch IN FSX. The difference should be +10 UTC in Melbourne. This time problem also affects all locations , the clock sync of local time and GMT is out 1 hour at any location. The lower picture is the time in London. Local time should be the same as GMT time but it is one hour out.Is there a fix for this.Andrew

FS Real Time corrects this type of problem - at least at the locations where I've seen it: http://www.3dsoftworks.net/products/fsrealtime/It has been ages since I registered my version, so I can't remember if there is a free trial period.

The UK is currently in British Summer Time (BST) so the clocks have gone forward by 1 hour compared to GMT. So the local UK time shown in your example is correct.Melbourne then becomes 9 hours in front of local GMT+1 which is called BST and not 10 hours in front of GMT. So the time is correct, its just that FSX is misleading you by calling the time GMT it should be called BST (GMT+1) during the UK summer months. So when setting the time during BST outside of the UK, remember to subtract 1 hour and you should be OK, unless FSX has some other hidden quirks I don't know about. :( Best wishesSteve
