August 12, 201015 yr Has anyone else had any issues when running RC4 under Windows 7 Home Premium? I get the app launched, load a flight plan and start RC4 in the game just fine. Unfortunately any time I try to change freqs to WX or CLR, the application hangs and I have to kill task.I'm running both FS9 and RC4 as Administrator, I've tried FSUIPC 3.9.8 and 3.9.3 (both with the same results) and even went so far as to flip compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3 on for RC4. Any suggestions? Thoughts? Next Steps?
August 12, 201015 yr When you say you have the programs set to run as admin, that's the program property, not necessarily you logged in with admin rights, correct? Are you using a default aircraft to test?Could there be another app running that has keystroke conflicts?Be sure you have the comms and aircraft control. In the RC options be sure auto-tune comms on contact is enabled.
August 12, 201015 yr Author 1. Correct. I'm logged in as me, but the program is set to run as Admin for all users.2. I've tried with default and add-ons with the same effect.3. I'm not running any other apps at the same time for now (eventually will be running AS6)4. I have comms (vs Otto) and auto-tune is enabled.I'm at a loss just as you are probably right now. I'm really hating Windows 7.

August 12, 201015 yr Author Yup. I'm actually using RC4 and FS9 the same exact way I did when I was running XP. Start a flight and be at my starting position, then load rc4.I'll kick out a log later today and send it off. (Although I've looked at the debug and can't see any errors, mostly because the app hangs before it can write whatever log files it needs to.)
