beta testing by purchaser many issues
I'm wondering if the pop up initializes something the first time you fly it? They have a similar pop up with some of their other AC which loads in new AIRAC data which could be easily missed if you changed views. Having an annoying popup to load something in the first 5 minutes ensures it loads properly. Just a hunch.

Best Payware 787?
And this counts as a counter to your counter on updates (from the same article): "No release date was provided, yet. "

Check the manuals?

Supposedly they did.

Best Payware 787?
Bumping a thread from 2014 only proves QW will never release the 787 they've been 'developing' for over 2 years now.

PC12 Action at St Barts
Anyone tried landings like that in their Carenado PC12 yet? Pretty interesting approach even when using slower GA, so I can't imagine how fast everything must happen when you're running a turboprop.

How to compensate for exceptionally long SIDs?
I'm having difficulty interpreting your response, but let me see if I get the gist. It sounds like I have a couple of choices here: 1. Enable NOTAMS so that I can fly as long as I need to complete the SID and then notify ATC when I'm back on course. (I do this when flying out of KEGE for KDEN so I don't get vectored into a mountain. This makes sense, but I'd have to expand the SID to see if it goes beyond the 30nm range as part of my planning stage for each flight as not every SID I fly does.) 2. Expand the SID to actual way points as part of my flight plan. (This limits the runways I can use as at most airports, the SID waypoints change a bit depending on runway assignment and isn't practical in all cases.) 3. There's no way to expand the SID range beyond 30nm as it's hard coded into the product.

How to compensate for exceptionally long SIDs?
Try flying this route: KDEN STAKR3 PYPER PNH J17 ABI DILLO LAIKS1 KAUS IFR FL330 You'll notice that the STAKR3 SID runs pretty long and ATC will bark at you for 'straying off your flight plan' before the SID is complete. Is there a way to adjust the distances RC4 will honor before connecting to the exit point? (PYPER in this case)

Longest Sim 737NGX Flight Without Refueling?
You'd get this same sort of 'treatment' flying to Hawaii from the continental US. Anything that does not involve a landing outside of US borders is treated as a 'domestic' flight, subject to all the normal service restrictions you'd find on a 45 minute hop between Houston and Dallas.

Under powered engines?
Holy crap the performance of the CJ2 is miserable. 100.2% power and only getting 300-500fpm climb rates @ 160kts above FL270. Has anyone done some fiddling with the config files to get some better numbers out of this thing? Is it is, it's pretty unflyable.

Longest flight?
I find it interesting that this bird has some really good range, but no lavatory. I wonder how RW pax handle not being able to relieve themselves during long flights.
-
Under powered engines?
Carenado has the Hawker which is decently fast, but the systems are sub-par when compared to their 350i and TBM850. Still good enough to fly, however.

Longest Sim 737NGX Flight Without Refueling?
From boeing.com: AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Sept. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) Business Jets set a new world record for "Speed Over a Recognized Course" when a BBJ flew non-stop from Los Angeles to Auckland, New Zealand for installation of its VIP interiors. The BBJ, a 737-700 modified for VIP use, made the 5,658 nautical mile (10,479 km) trip in 13 hours, 7 minutes and 54 seconds. Granted, this was a modified BBJ with extended fuel tanks, but still.. good stretch if you ask me.

Under powered engines?
So are you saying this is more realistic than I'm giving Carenado credit for? Did they actually model real world performance contrary to the performance numbers in print?
-
Under powered engines?
Max cruise at FL290 with 9500lbs on board is around 415KTAS. I'm getting 100KTS less than that with a 5KT headwind at 100.1% power. Is it me, or does it seem Carenado under powered the engines on this thing?

Lovely plane but can barely read the instruments
This is a common problem with alot of the HD textures Carenado uses for their panels. I'm unaware of a fix short of zooming in your view, unfortunately, unless someone remakes the panel for low vis users.

Prop overspeed during takeoff?
I've also read where the max transient prop RPM (max 20 seconds) is 1870 and prop overspeed limits at 96% TRQ is 1768, so having the props overspeed into the mid 1700s temporarily during take off isn't an engine killer, apparently.
-
Prop overspeed during takeoff?
Good stuff right there. I noticed that the 350 has a tendency to roll left on taxi, which I'm assuming is the simulated inertia/torque you speak of.
-
Prop overspeed during takeoff?
I made the changes, but it still didn't seem to help. The prop overspeeds past 1700rpm temporarily no matter what I do. Do you guys have the same behavior? What's your take off procedures look like?
-
Prop overspeed during takeoff?
I've noticed that advancing the throttles during takeoff over speeds the props (temporarily) when the condition lever is at full. Is this normal behavior for the 350i? I couldn't find any condition setting during takeoff in the manual, but I've assumed they should be full forward.

phpVMS vs VAM vs Something else?
Weirdly enough, I got phpVMS working fine after some tweaks and fixes. I'm still troubleshooting some issues with VAM and don't have a fully functioning server yet.

phpVMS vs VAM vs Something else?
Guys, Looking to start up my own VA to experiment a little and noticed there seems to be two heavy hitters in this space: phpVMS and VAM. phpVMS seems to be more mature due to the length it's been around, but VAM seems simplistic and more community focused. I understand the economics behind people developing paid modules for phpVMS, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth given the community efforts involved. Is there anything else out there similar to the two I mentioned worth looking into?

Longest flight?
I'm starting to really enjoy the 350i, even with all the common Carenado quirks. I'm stretching out the legs on this beast as we speak with a 1100NM flight to Belize. What's the longest flight you've done so far?

Warnings
I've also noticed an extremely annoying horn if you're below 2500AGL and below 50% RPM without wheels down. Haven't found a way to disable it other than increasing RPM, so if someone has an idea on that, I'd appreciate it.
