  1. *** NEVERMIND *** Got it fixed. Something wiped out my configuration settings. Got them restored and all is well.
  2. I've seen spotty (and outdated) threads about this experience with no real fix (I guess I COULD reinstall the Q400, but I'd rather not). Everything about the 400 was working fine with my Saitek pedals/yoke and throttle quad until the last couple of days when my condition levers no longer respond to movements from my throttle quad. I can mouse them up and down and the throttle itself works fine, but condition levers are jacked. Anyone else have this happen and arrived at a fix?
  3. If you have a proper load out (pax in each seat), the speeds are less dramatic.
  4. First, does anyone have CIs for AAL and their fleet? Secondly, any chance we could get the first post in this thread updated with all the new findings so we don't have to dig through 6+ pages to find the information? Either way, thanks to the OP and all those who have helped with this list! It's added one more layer to the immersive experience. EDIT Found these on the virtual AAL forums: Flight with duration more than 4 Hours: MD-80 = Cost Index 24 A319 and A32B = Cost Index 27 B737-800W = Cost Index 35 B757-200W = Cost Index 80 B767-300ER = Cost Index 65 B777-200ER = Cost Index 85 B777-300ER = Cost Index 90 Flights with duration less than 4 Hours: MD-80 = Cost Index 21 A319 and A32B = Cost Index 22 B737-800W = Cost Index 30 B757-200W = Cost Index 75 B767-300ER = Cost Index 60 B777-200ER = Cost Index 80 B777-300ER = Cost Index 85 Now, these are from 2014, so if someone has some updated info on these I'd be greatly appreciative!
  5. Wow! Great information there, thanks! I'll give her another go this morning and see what results I get. Happy holidays, guys!
  6. Thought this slowtation was slow to begin with.. but with a 110kt headwind lately, it's even slower. I'm at 100% power and only pulling 167kts IAS/279 TAS. Do you guys fly this thing with throttles wide open all the time or ever power back?
  7. I actually found the other extension. It had fallen out of the box and landed in one of my chairs when I pulled the unit out and I didn't notice it until just now.
  8. I heart me some Steveo! Unfortunately he's a bit inconsistent with his video releases, but otherwise, great stuff!
  9. The Phenom 100 v 2.0 now has 'activate leg' which allows you to alter the flight plan in flight without erasing the rest of your flight plan. I'm not sure if this is implemented in the 300 yet, though.
  10. I guess my concern is with over torquing the engines during a long start up (not that engine damage is modeled or anything). It took around 2 minutes for the props to settle down after start up. For those of you flying in freezing or below conditions, can you verify if your start up takes awhile before the engines settle down?
  11. It's just above freezing here, so my start up seemed to take forever before the engines spooled back down. I'm assuming this is normal as the engine oil temps needed to come up before they'd go back to idle?
  12. OK.. feeling pretty stupid here.. but I can't seem to get the throttles to advance on this thing. They keep resetting back to idle. Not sure if it's a setting in the AC or something with my throttle quadrant (seems to work fine with other AC, so I'm guessing I'm missing a step somewhere with the 441). Thoughts? EDIT: Nevermind. Needed to come off the start locks, apparently.
  13. It's not important enough for me to return it given i have extra extensions. I've been waiting 2 months for a replacement, so I'll make do.
  14. No Logitech branding and it was missing one of the toe extension thingies. Fortunately I kept the two I had from the previous pedals, so it was no big deal. It looks like Logitech is dumping stock before rebranding new models.
  15. Just got my new "Logitech Saitek" pedals in from Amazon today. After extensive research, it was just easier to replace my old Saitek set up with the same model.
  16. The price difference is pretty significant. Logitech has their 'pre-release' price set to something like $170. The original Saitek gear is out there, but at prices well over $200. Newegg shows Logitech will release a bunch of Saitek gear on 11/12.
  17. I'm guessing that's a delta between P3D and FSX in the modeling. I don't think I have infinite battery turned on in FSX, but I'll check. My rudder pedals broke recently, so all flights have been grounded until a suitable replacement is found.
  18. So basically I'm back to waiting for Logitech to release the Saitek brand again.
  19. My Saitek Pro Pedals went kaput recently when the tab holding the spring in the right pedal broke loose. Now I'm without pedals and on the prowl for a replacement. I've read mixed reviews on the CH Products pedals and don't know enough about the ThrustMaster model to make an educated decision. Does anyone know when Logitech plans to start shipping Saitek gear? Everything Saitek from Logitech is 'pre-order only' on Amazon and it's pretty annoying to see the price point much lower than places that still have the original Saitek pedals they haven't been able to sell (almost $100 more than what Logitech is advertising, but at least they have them in.) Thoughts?
  20. Aren't airlines required to certify their autoland systems at least once a year? I've been told this process can result in a pretty hard landing as well, although it would make up only a fraction of the hard landings everyone here seems to experience.
  21. Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. I can understand how your inbox could get a bit annoying with requests and cause you to get jaded about the whole thing. I'm just happy someone has taken the time to build repaints for themselves and then offered them up to those who were interested (compared to being asked to make custom ones you don't really care about). A lot less stress when it's something YOU have a direct benefit from primarily and others can just take it or leave it.
  22. Not that I'm not appreciative that you've taken the time to create some masterful repaints and released them for general consumption, but I'm curious as to why you chose SOH for the distribution point when you're a LM here at AVSim?
  23. Mine JUST NOW broke loose on the right rudder pedal. Forget about trying to repair it as the tension from the spring is too much for most glues. Your best bet (and what I'm now seeking for) is to get a replacement unit entirely. Most places in Dallas seem to have ditched Saitek products entirely and are only carrying the Thrustmaster rudder pedals.
