Is there some way to sharpen the text? As it is, I must zoom about halfway from pilot seat to the panels in order to read them. Admittedly, my eyes aren't as sharp as in earlier times , but no other plane is this bad.

The screen is a 35" Vizeo  flat widescreen  screen TV.. FSX.cfk has Max resolutions set to 4096x4096

This is a common problem with alot of the HD textures Carenado uses for their panels. I'm unaware of a fix short of zooming in your view, unfortunately, unless someone remakes the panel for low vis users.

Not to be cute, but unless you have about 3 monitors and a king's fortune in VC enhancement hardware, your best bet is to create a 2D panel using an old Eaglesoft CJ1 panel bitmap, with resized Carenado CJ2 2D pop-ups overlayed.
