September 16, 201015 yr Hi everyone.Does anyone know of a way to recover the Logbook which I clean forgot to save before re-installing FSX all over again? I have tried to do a System Restore in Win7 64-bit Pro,but that only takes me to the point just after I had re-installed FSX and the Logbook is the new install one.Any hints/tips/advice/etc appreciated. September 16, 201015 yr Moderator If you deleted it, it would be in the recycle bin - if you just reinstalled FSX right over it - it's gone. I'm assuming you didn't have a backup other than system restore.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

September 17, 201015 yr Have you ever saved an image file of your system? Then you can simply restore it.I do it regularly using Acronis. Best regards from RelaxX

Google it - there are several. *IF* the software finds the logbook file somewhere on the disk you *may* be able to recover it. Other than that, it's gone.Try several different undelete programs JIC.Good luck RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

September 22, 201015 yr I'm afraid this won't help you recover your FSX logbook, but I know a bit about howyou feel having been there myself (more than once I'm afraid ~:\ I now use a logbookthat's included with a fine payware "tattletale" (pseudo "black box") package titled FS Flightkeeper. There are many other stand alone freeware and payware options availablefor logging your FSX flights and without a doubt any one of them would be an improvement over the FSX default logbook with regard to stability / reliability, flexibility and features.Hope you find one that you like.Best regards,Ken Boardman Ken Boardman
