September 19, 201015 yr HI,First congratulation on a great FS add'on which makes our fliying as real as it gets. The reason of my topic is that i have a problem with gauges. I am using the FS Flight Keeper and there is a gauge that i have to install in to the panel of the aircraft (FS Acars gauge). So the problem is : If i have the Fs Acars installed in the panel and after i install the Fs2Crew i dont' have anymore the Fs Acars, After installing the Fs2 Crew i reinstall the Fs Acars i don't have anymore the Fs2Crew main panel. How can i resolve this problem?

How can i resolve this problem?Hi,Solution:1) Install FS2Crew with the FS2Crew version of the Panel.CFG.2) "MANUALLY" add the ACARS gauge to the Panel.CFG that has the FS2Crew entries. Just make sure the window/gauge #'s all line up in sequential order.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 20, 201015 yr Here is the key to getting the ACARS device to work with the maddog, at least this is how I do it.After FS2Crew is installed and set up, set up the Maddong to your preferences. When you use the maddog load manager, it will rewrite the aircraft file based on your livery choices and cockpit chocies(from paint to green or amber fuel gauge, FD type, auto brake etc.). So when you have the Maddog set up on how you want to fly it, press the green OK button, and verify that you want the plane to be loaded in a cold and dark set up.Backup the panel.cfg in the appropriate folder (I use the full modern digital glass cockpit with wide 2d panels), so I go to the panel.wide folder and backup the aircraft.cfg folder. I call it panel.cgf - ACARS.When I use the load manager to determine the pax load, cargo load, and fuel load, it will then create a new cfg file, which will blow out the ACARS additions I made. I then go and delete that new one, and replace it with the backed up ACARS one.
