September 22, 201015 yr Hi... I have a question regarding the great AI-addon WOAI.If I want to import AI-flightplans from another developer, say Alpha-India Group, can someone teach me how to get the flightplans to "understand" that it´s WOAI´s aircraft it should be relating to? Once I´ve compiled them they look like this, next to the WOAI-flightplans:I would prefer not to download other AI models!/Johan /Johan Windh
Once I´ve compiled them they look like this, next to the WOAI-flightplans:I would prefer not to download other AI models!I generally like AI traffic Mover (AITM) for this, though AI Flight Planner is also a good option, especially if you also use FSX.You need to uncompile the traffic bgl file in either program (AITM actually uses traffic tools aka TTools for this) into the three text files (or use the originals that AIG provides in the zip file). The key is to change the aircraft_.txt file. Both AITM and AIFP have tools that allow you to search through your existing installed AI fleet to find an appropriate replacement, which you then add to the aircraft file. You update the aircraft index so the replacement model/texture combo uses the one from the original aircraft. Here I open up a flightplan set from AIG for Korean Air in AITM:The top section is the aircraft contained in the AIG plans, red being aircraft not installed. On the bottom is a list of all installed aircraft. So I start looking for candidate replacements, and find an FSP A300-600 that I want to use for AC #1 (Korean Airlines Airbus A300-600). I select my FSP aircraft and click "add". My aircraft is now added at the end of the top list as AC#13. Now I select this aircraft in the middle "substitute" window and then select AC#1 in the top list, so I will change all flightplans for AC#1 to AC#13 when I click substitute. When I do this AITM tells me how many flightplans are being modified (if it says "0", you might have made a mistake). Now I can delete AC#1 since it is unused. Note that AIG has set the cruise speed to 200 for all aircraft. It probably is a good idea to follow their example. You can highlight AC#13 and click "speed" to edit it from 480 to 200.Now you can compile into a traffic bgl file.scott s..
September 22, 201015 yr Decompile the new flightplan with TToolsIn the "aircraft.txt" file replace the name of the aircraft (the one in parentheses) with the one after "title=" in the aircraft.cfg file of the aircraft you want to use.Recompile Peter Schluter
