Discount for "Voice Control" owners?

Featured Replies

Hey Bryan,Congrats on the latest release. I'm guessing "no" but I thought it worth while to ask; is there any discount for those of use who already own the voice control version? I might be interested as there are times when I just don't want to "talk to my computer." Just%20Kidding.gif Also, are there any issues or special installation instructions for installing both versions on the same rig? Thanks,

Hi Al,There's no discount I'm afraid this time around. Given the minuscule market size, I'm already giving FS2Crew away too cheap as it is. Basically when people buy an FS2Crew, they're essentially getting the product for free. What they're paying is the personalized support and quick response time.As for special install instruction: Yes, you'll want to uninstall the Voice Version first before you install the Button version.Conversely, if you want to re-install the Voice version, you'll need to uninstall the Button version first. All the best,

Completely understandable Bryan, and thanks for the timely reply. A related question, I have both the voice and button versions of the LDS-767 installed. I just restored the keys and panels on the button version before installing the voice version. Was that OK, or should I have really uninstalled the button version first? The voice versions seems to be working as far as I can tell.. Rolling%20Eyes.gif

Hi Al,You did the right thing. It's good practice to uninstall the 'button' 767 version before installing the 'voice version'. It's best to start as 'clean' as possible.Chiefly, you want 'clean' panel.cfgs.Cheers,
