Upgrade for new video card...Help appreciated

I had my heart set on the Gigabyte ud5 motherboard as it seems to be fairly good and offering alot of features. The reviews on newegg seem fair but there are also alot of bad reviews. Any thoughts on that guys? I'm also looking at the Asus P6X58D-E which seems to be a good deal. Rampage extreme ii and iii seem a little like overkill for me.Lyndon

P6X58-Deluxe is an excellent board, Rock solid, great BIOS and plenty of features. Check those reviews...

Oh, that's because Microcenter has the i7 950 for $229.00 and the i7 930 is only $199.00 so it's really not that much of a price difference.LyndonYeah true... I wonder when that one comes out?
It's suposed to come out Q2 or 3 of 2011. Most likley after amd releases the 6000 series. Apprently it will be like 2 470GTX and need a PSU of at least 600W.

I have a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 motherboard and you won't be hearing any complaints from me. It is one of the best motherboards that I have ever owned and I started in 1978!

I have had the gtx480 for 3 weeks. It's quiet, stable, and handles anything you throw at it. My former 5870 was not so stable for some unknown reason.Get the latest and greatest, you won't be disappointed.
