Piper Cherokee Arrow on front page?

Featured Replies

I downloaded the Piper Cherokee Turbo Arrow from the front page of AVSIM. It's a free GA plane and actually quite nice. However, the two variants both have the same problem: The Altimeter and VS gauges are inoperative. Did you find the same problem? Is there a simple fix for this? I really like this little plane.Stan

Same thing here. I like this panel over the first one but those instruments don't work for me as well.

If you open up the panel.cfg file, you'll see that Maule and Robinson gauges are referenced.Neither of these are to be found in native FSX... The Maule gauge can be retrieved from the Maule folder if you have FSX Gold, and the Robinson gauges are to be found under Rotorcraft..Do a search in your FSX folder and copy the two cab files to the Arrow's panel folder ..

Thanks, Bert. That fixed it indeed. That's what I love about this forum...great help when you need it!By the way, this Piper is a "surprisingly good piece of freeware". Fun to fly.Stan

Well I'll be jiggered, it worked for me too! Thanks!
