September 10, 200322 yr Does this help?I don't have a NVidia card but thought that I would pass this on.http://www.3dchipset.com/#333
September 10, 200322 yr NVidia released some drivers (I am not sure what version it was) that caused problems with DirectX 8 and 9. I encoutered the problem with my NVidia GeForce 2 GO card. Rollback the drivers to a previous version or download the latest from NVidia.
September 10, 200322 yr Try the new "unofficial" drivers located on guru3d.com (45.33). These drivers fix a lot of problems, especially scenery flashing that occurred with the FX5900 Ultra cards. My graphics and frame rates have improved considerably after installing these new drivers.Jim Young
September 11, 200322 yr The best drivers for the original Ti4200 (not 8xAGP) card are the 30.82 drivers. They fixed pretty much all FS9 menu problems on my system. The newer drivers DO NOT. Bert
September 11, 200322 yr I found that only 6x(Dirext 3D Only) Anti-aliasing works on my FX-5900. I tried all others, 2x to 8x and the select screens are all black.
September 11, 200322 yr Hi,Found this snag too, only application AA in display propertieswith AA checked in sim would stop this or no AA at all and run full screen 1600/1200 32. off course running sim AA murders the dreadedfps...tried several drivers and have gone with 1600 full screen.Steve
September 11, 200322 yr Author Well i guys i think i found the fix.I installed the 44.24 drivers, then went into the GEforce Properties and set AA to 4X, this stop the black flickering and now when you ALT in Full Screen mode you can see the menus.Cheers! I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
