October 17, 201015 yr Hello,I prefer using RC 4.3 with pilot autoreply and play pilot wavs disabled. Although my readbacks are always correct, it gives me the opportunity to practice talking to ATC, i.e. before flying the same flight online (IVAO). I noticed however that the phrase "say again" is not suppressed and still is played. But I would like to say this phrase myself too. Is there a special reason why this phrase is not suppressed? Is there a way to suppress it yet?Hans HartveltThe Netherlands Hans Hartvelt The Netherlands

October 18, 201015 yr I have seen this before. I use RC with pilot wavs off and autotune off. If ATC give me a command that either I do not understand, or was sidetracked either with takeoff checks or landing checks, I press the repeat command, and instead of no pilot wav being played, the pilot says "Say Again", and then ATC repeats the command. October 19, 201015 yr Commercial Member Hello JD,It is exactly as Scott /Cras describes. If it is still not clear to you, please let me know.Hans Hartveltoh, that's probably a bug. if you never ever play the pilot wavs, you could probably rename sayagain.wav in all the pilot directories. you'll never hear it again.jd JD Read my blog
October 20, 201015 yr Author oh, that's probably a bug. if you never ever play the pilot wavs, you could probably rename sayagain.wav in all the pilot directories. you'll never hear it again.jdHello JD,Thanks for the work around. Since I don't use the pilot.wavs, I also don't change to other pilot voices than the default one and it is therefore not necessary to rename all the sayagain.wav files. Renaming the one of the default pilot directory (60:Brett Delana) will do. That file was not so easy to find, so for other users of your excellent add-on I give here the path: Radar Contact 4.3\rcv43-07-08-01\rcv\winwood\60.Hans Hartvelt Hans Hartvelt The Netherlands
October 20, 201015 yr JD, is it also possible to just rename all the wavs for a single pilot and then when it is his time to speak, nothing will be played? I ask this because I see this as a possible way to get it where I can speak my interactions with ATC, and then should I pass control over to my FO, I will hear him speak to ATC. I thought about this a while ago but havent acted on it thinking it would crash, and i would rather have to replace the wavs with a file that is silent, and that sounded like too much work at the moment and I put it off later. If I could just delete/rename wavs and this not cause a crash when RC goes hunting for the right wav to play at a certain time, this would be, quite simply, sweet. October 21, 201015 yr Your RC voice pages have separate selections for the pilot and co-pilot. Pick a pilot voice to modify and then for your copilot exclude that from your selections.
