Hi all, been to the fsp forum to see how to solve the problem on refuelling the md-11 without getting the message sorry no inflight refuelling allowed. tried some of the ideas floated in the forum but to no avail. So decided to start a thread here since seems that someone will know another way to solve the problem.

I think a real world pilot would get the same message, I suggest you try and be one and load the MD11 as it should be regarding fuel and you should be able to get from A to B without any problems. Common sense prevails. richard welsh.

Are you trying to refuel in the air? This you cannot do. Nor should you. When flying with FSPax, I start a flight and write down the passenger load. Then CANCEL that flight. I then load that passenger count via TOPCAT or the aircrafts load manager, then randomize a cargo load. I then use that payload data to get a fuel load from vRoute. I then fuel. After the fuel load is correct, I again load FSPax, will get the same Pax load, and start FSPax (with the W+B off, GWPS off, and other settings).

The problem Peter is describing has 0 to do with in flight refueling. For someone that uses FSP I'm surprised you also don't get this everytime you take off Scott. This also has nothing to do with "Piloting", Richard... If you don't own FSP or know what he's refering to, why go out of your way to answer sarcastically? Common sense sure does prevail, but only if you first have the program the poster is talking about.Peter, you need to disable FSP's fuel and weights first of all, secondly don't start a flight until you have loaded your fuel. there is no fix for this and you will get the error normally only during takeoff. One thing I often do is to toss in 100lbs after I loaded FSP. This still gives the error but it gets it out of the way. I often do this in windowed mode since the warning you get often falls behind the DX window. Hope this helps.

Hi Peter, Keep in mind, there is no way not to get that error message. It is a bug that they wrote off as a PMDG issue long ago and no attention on their part will ever be done (that was said).Going to windowed mode won't make it stop and there is no fix for it. Supposedly it only happens to PMDG aircraft and possibly Level D, not sure. But anyway, windowed will allow you to atleast find the warning.I don't mean to say you'll always get this message 100% of the time, but there isn't anyway to prevent it. It was one of my first posts there long ago and still see it posted now and then on their forum.Edit: Peter, are you by any chance "747pmdg" on the FSP forum? I replied to your comment the other day and the mod deleted it. I expected it since I agreed with you about their stupidity and PM'd you there about it. I copied the entire post and sent it Dan's way but doubt anything will come of it. It's sad that he let his forum fall to crap as he has. The moderators there are some of the worst in sim history.Anyway, if that is you, check your PM's there from a couple nights ago.

I have never had the issue with the Level D or the MD 11 by PMDG, only the 747 but I use Turbine777's work around to good effect.

I think I had misread what he was trying to explain. I get strange FSPax pop ups only when using the PMDG 747 (I do not own the MD-11), it has been a while since I last flown the Queen with FSPax, but I recall it as being the flight status window pops up instead of the no inflight fuel dialogue. But I could be wrong on that account. When I fly with the Level d 767, he Maddog MD80, PMDG JS4100, or my other addon aircraft, I do not get this behaviour. It was a devestating occurance prior to Highmemfix and flying in Windows Vista, as it was about a 50% chance the sim would never get out of the black screen and trash a flight upon takeoff that took over an hour to plan and prep. Now this is no longer a worry. Annoying yes, but not a devestating occurance. Ever since trying to fly the Coolsky Super 80 pro with FSPax I have turned off the FSPax Weight and Balance option on every single flight I do. I still use what I assume to be correct profiles found on the FSPax website, but for me the only important info I get from FSPax is the passenger load and sometimes I use their random generated flight number.
