October 20, 201015 yr I have been away from designing airports for awhile and I can't remember how to copy a poly that I made in Sbuilder.I'm trying to get back into the design mode again.I made a flatten poly but now I need another one the same size to use for the landclass.About a year ago I found a way to copy and paste them so I don't have to go point by point, but now I can't find it.Can anybody direct me to the instructions on how to copy and paste a poly.Thanks,AlanFS9
October 20, 201015 yr SBuilder for FS9 can import an FS9 BGL. So import your flatten bgl, change it's attributes, and compile a new bgl.Dick

April 4, 201115 yr When I'm using SBuilderX I always export my project as an SBX file and also XML.When working with polys that I want to use over again, or objects/effects/etc, IAPPEND those into the current project, select and move them off the spot thay"came in to" , and then APPEND and move as many times as I want copies of the original.Once I have all the copies I want, I can then move them to their final locations, saveand compile the project.Use APPEND as opposed to IMPORT. AIR, IMPORT will delete the current content of yourproject, leaving only the imported objects.I use this technique when I am creating my FLAK sites for a soon to be released/updatedpackage of flak sites in Europe. April 5, 201115 yr Had an HD crash and will take a while to get back up, but from memory go into poly mode (or line mode if you copy a line). Then in the menu Edit--copy, left click Select the poly to copy and then Edit--paste. Left click where you want point 1 of the copy to be (but of course you can drag it later). Every time you left click you get another copy, but if you right click or click in the menus you get out of paste mode.scott s..
