Do you Stutter on the ground only ????

Featured Replies

Hi folks. Yet another post about a video problem. I've tweaked my machine to give me outstanding frame rates and extremely smooth flying. The ONLY time I seem to see stuttering is when Im taxing around an airport. Weather its a large or small airport, it always seems to be there. Does anyone else see the same or have a possible suggestion for me to try? My Specs...Asus P4C800/3.06 Intel OC to 3.41 gig RamATI 9800pro/256Ram

I've noticed the same thing too. I've done every tweak known to man. Once you take off it's fine. I agree with you it's most noticeable on the ground when taxiing around.I've come to the conclusion that it is simply the way COF is programmed. It's just inherent and there's nothing to do for it.Lee

I have a similar experience. I think it is way better than FS2002, but still some minor stutters can occur. I had done some tweaking here a week or so ago, and all of a sudden it was totally stutter free even on taxi. I told myself not to do any more dinkin around with settings, yet somehow I did and now I see some minor taxi-related stutters again. It is VERY HARD to really pinpoint the causes of this stuff.Noel

Ever add taxiway signs to fs2002?I did on a few airports but the fps hit was too big-for fs2002 that is.Of course they are included in fs9....along with increased autogen.Better performance than fs2002 with the addons-but still a hit... :-)http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg
