October 10, 200322 yr Hi, Bruce.I think that what you are doing is the way to go, you don't want to get any bad habits. Later on, you can always use this sim, it is more fun for sure, but it has other problems that you have to be aware of and compensate for. Good luck with your training, just keep at it and make sure you get your Numbers to facilitate the process. TV

Itgives me an updated his and I found the file here. But descents and climbs is not so big problems. It's small changesin heading and keeping altitude in turns when at the same timecontrolling both joystick and rudderpedals. >>What about the commercial school? Maybe I can start it and>>leave IFR checkride?>It is also challenging and it takes another things to get usedBut I will learn about other planes and if the checkride anywayis unrealistic what am I missing. For example onr thing I been wondering about is why we hold at the SEA VOR when the chart shows a HOLD racetrack around PARKK but noneat SEA?One last point in your instructions you tell us to first intercept the 339 course and after the VOR the 338 course. The instructions says opposite and I have used them and I don't fail because of that.
October 11, 200322 yr Hi.If you want to get it, just to get a sense of accomplishment, but it is not very realistic. The course inbound should be 158 radial, (338) and out bound the 339, 1 Deg. will not fail you.The holds can be given any where. One of the most interesting could be on a Pop up while you get vectored and in the middle of nowhere you are being told,
