October 25, 201015 yr Hello.I'm brand new and I do not own any of PMDG's products, but I asure I'm badly concidering a purchase of the 737NGX when it's released. I'm just wondering what is it really? I've caught up that it is an ultrarealistic edition of Boeing 737 and something that would light up my simulator drastically. I'm flying for Virtual Norwegian which flies 733 and 738. Is this some sort of package including -700,-800,-900? Or is it one particular aircraft type called 737NG(X)? I need a replacement for the default 737-800 which is accepted as a 737-800 in ACars. Will this product [737NGX] satisfy my needs? Thanks a lot for answering :)
October 25, 201015 yr Commercial Member PMDG have stated (I believe) that it will cover the 737-600/700/800/900 variants, and perhaps the BBJ later. The above aircraft comprise the '737NG' family, 'NG' standing for 'Next Generation'. I always find it funny when people here refer to the real aircraft as an 'NGX' - 'X' is just something that a lot of developers put on the end of their products to signify that it is for FSX. I have every faith that this product will satisfy your needs :) Nick Collett i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz, GTX 480, 8GB Corsair 8-8-8-24, 300GB WD Velociraptor, Corsair HX850W

That is because I suspected it to just be an additon on the title. ;-)I guess this will be a must have product, so I'm looking forward to the release. There is no indication of when it is released, and will it be a framerate eater of dimensions?I'm sorry to ask you guys about things that probably is very known on these forums, but I can't find a page with general facts about this product anywhere. That's why I'm throwing it at you here.Again thank you.
October 25, 201015 yr Commercial Member As above its 600 7 8 9 serieshowever seeing as the -900 was discontinued in favour of the -900ER, i would hazard a guess that the -900 wont be included, only the ER varient. Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK
October 25, 201015 yr Joakim,It's expected to be released before the year's end. On the subject of performance, it has been stated that despite the level of detail, it is expected to out perform PMDG's older products in terms of frame rates, according to some of the developers :( Andrew McCluskey
October 25, 201015 yr Okay, guys. Thanks for updating me on this theme. Seems to be a masterpiece of a product, though. Getting tired of the default after 4 years, so it's probably on time when it's released :D
October 25, 201015 yr Upgrading from the default you will have a steep learning curve! I remember the days the look of the CDU scared me lol. Make sure you read the manuals when they're released so that you know what you're letting yourself in for! :( Andrew McCluskey

But I'm not totally lost when it comes to the FMC and stuffs. Have some experience with Wilco's 737. But I've never flown with advanced intruments in the B738, so that is what I'm looking for, to put it that way. I concidered Ariane's, but I guess this is the product I'm going for. :)
