HJG 727-200ADV

Featured Replies

I have been playing with the HJG 727-200ADV model and panel the last few days, and I'm having a blast with it. I am getting a kind of whirring-rattling sound in the cockpit when I first show up in FSX, engines not running. It is still there after I get the engines started and persists throughout the flight. Is this normal? It is a little annoying. Is it something that needs shut off after the engines are running and stabilized, like an APU or something like that? Thanks.

Aren't those instrument cockpit sounds? These are especially normal, even on the DC-9s and 737-200s.

Altimeter shaker.

Yup, it'd be the instruments, they're all clunky old mechanical stuff on a 727, the other annoying noise is the three Pratt and Whitney JT8Ds bolted to the back of the thing :-)Al
