November 16, 201015 yr Hello all,I was flying the default Beechcraft King Air 350 with FSPassenger last night. I was on approach to Nassau, Bahamas (MYNN) and the ATC told me the altimeter was 3277. I tried to adjust my altimeter with the mouse wheel, on the virtual cockpit knob and by pressing the "B" button, and the highest I could go was 3201. I could adjust lower with no problem, but no higher. Of course, I came in with an altitude reading of 000 while well above the runway. I landed manually from there OK, but was dinged 250 points for having the wrong altimeter setting on landing. Trying to build up my FSPassenger career, so was wondering if anyone else has seen this. ?? Was the barometric pressure just crazy high that day and out range?I am using Windows 7 64, FSX w/acceleration, Radeon HD 5870. Thanks.-Don Don Polidori

Thanks.-DonThe highest recorded pressure level is 32.00 inches of mercury recorded at Agata, Siberia, on 31 December 1968. Sounds like a dodgy FSX misinterpretation to me! November 16, 201015 yr Sounds to me like FS was going a bit mental, which weather programs were you using, or was it FS default?Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

November 16, 201015 yr Author I have REX installed, but don't use the weather engine. I use the default FSX real time updates and have FSUIPC installed for smoothing. I thought it could be an FSPax issue, but this was from the FSX ATC that was telling me 3277. Shoot, I have FSCommander and forgot to check that to see if it agreed with the Barometric pressure I was getting from ATC. That would have been a good check. Now that I know that was an impossibly high reading, If it happens again I'll do some in-flight research to verify and see if I can find anything. Thanks for the replies and the quick fact check on the world record barometer reading! If anyone thinks of anything else or has seen this happen to them, let me know. -Don Don Polidori
