Contact Points Adjustment Question

Featured Replies

I really like flying the Albatross X, but it tends to sit nose low in the water...See attached screenshot...It actually dips below the water, but I didn't quite catch it in the screen shot...Is there a way to adjust some contact points or whatever to correct this? Thanks,Steve

Hello:These links might prove rather helpful in finding some settings that work best, based on examples for the Goose and other Grumman amphibians:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/59155-grumman-goose/page__p__406743__hl__goose+contact+points__fromsearch__1#entry406743http://forum.avsim.net/topic/58797-grumman-goose-contact-points/page__p__404876__hl__goose+contact+points__fromsearch__1#entry404876http://forum.avsim.net/topic/198676-grumman-goose-2-aircraftcfg-fixes/page__p__1292400__hl__goose+contact+points__fromsearch__1#entry1292400http://forum.avsim.net/topic/58838-fsx-grumman-goose-aircraftcfg-stall-speeds-mixed/page__p__401914__hl__goose+contact+points__fromsearch__1#entry401914Hope this helps ! :( GaryGB

Hello:It is a rather nicely done, and very creative fictional aircraft freeware package by Eugene Heyart. :( It took me a while to recall the correct aircraft package title, and spelling of the original author's name. :( At Simviation:stratojet26.JPG-thumb.jpgAlbatross1.JPG"Stratojet Albatross Package (Category: FSX > Civil Jets)13.81Mb (10138 downloads)Stratojet Albatross Package for FSX. Amphibian jet. Superb original FS2004 model created by Eugene Heyart with virtual cockpit adapted for FSX by Danny Garnier. This is a full model with VC and passenger cabin you can enter (see key commands in FSX menu). There is no visible glass but in this model it is not too important. Updated by Danny Garnier.
