November 21, 201015 yr Commercial Member Quick question guy's, I posted a little while back regarding moving my entire sim setup to Bahrain, well I'm out here now all the evrything arrived and works ok except my main flightsim machine (I carried the hard drive's in my hand luggage) So I took it the PC store hear and the guy says I need a new motherboard, wont that mean I have to re-register all my products? I didn't buy that extended download thing for the MD11 :( Rob Prest
November 21, 201015 yr I shouldn't think so. It's the logs in the windows installation that most add-on security measures will be looking for, and if you connect the hard drives with your operating system FS installation etc to a replacement motherboard, those logs will still be the same.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
November 21, 201015 yr Commercial Member I didn't buy that extended download thing for the MD11 :(I believe the extended download service is there so that you can redownload the aircraft if you've lost the installer. I don't think it has anything to do with reactivation (unless to reactivate a reinstall is necessary!) Nick Collett i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz, GTX 480, 8GB Corsair 8-8-8-24, 300GB WD Velociraptor, Corsair HX850W

I changed MB on my PC due to a failure and while some things went fine things like Windows, Office, etc all had to be re-activated because there was a hardware change. Had to speak to someone to get most of them done but everything did fire up again. FSX, PMDG and the numerous add-ons I have did not need redoing and ran fine.
