The sounds are recorded from either the real thing or a Level-D sim. So yes not realistic if your only basis is driving your car and turning the wipers on... Rob Prest
November 28, 201015 yr wipers in airplanes are pretty loud, i was at work one day, it was raining heavily and i could hear the wiper motor and the blades wiping on the windsheild while the pilot transmitted on the frequency on an MD80 that just landed Bryan Richards "People depend so much on automation that they forget how to get the automation to work." November 28, 201015 yr There is no patch, however you can try to edit/delete the wiper related sound files under /Sounds/PMDG/MD-11/Various/.
