Hi thereIt may be that during your installation/uninstall the default FSX Traffic Settings were set to zero. Go to Settings, select 'General' and then 'Traffic'. There are three sliders there for Aircraft, Ground Vehicles and Ships. If this is the problem then try setting Aircraft at 40%, Ground Vehicles at 25% and Ships at 10%. At the Settings Home Page save your configuration setting with a title of your choice.I cannot think of anything else. Good luck.Roger

Hi, Check and see if the trafficAircraft.bgl file, located in the scenery/world/scenery folder has been renamed, if it has rename it exactly as I've posted - that should restore your default traffic.Otherwise it sounds as if you might have some flightplans in FS9 format installed which will prevent all FSX format traffic (including the default)from displaying. You'll need to seach for them and convert them to FSX format (I use AI Flight Planner found in the library).

click on the file so it is highlighted then press F2, after that just delete the ".passive" and press enter. If this is MyTrafficX did you try to get any help from the support forums?http://forum.simflight.com/forum/105-product-support-forums/The install should have added it to the scenery library, but if it did not you can add it yourself. Get into the scenery library from FSX and click on add area, navigate to:Microsoft Flight Simulator X/MyTraffic, double click on the MyTraffic folder and then click on OK (if you are using Win7 you then need to click once in the white box in the empty space below the listed folders). After that use the move down button and move the MyTraffic enter so that it is between Addon Scenery and Propeller Objects. It also should have added it to your fsx.cfg file, you should have an entry that looks like this under [Main]SimObjectPaths.6=MyTraffic\Aircraft

Have you ever added any scenery to FSX using the Scenery Library? Here is a link to a guide on how to add scenery to FSX in a Win7 installation.http://forums.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?205432-Windows-7-Scenery-Addon-Installation-Bug-FixAfter you add it do not forget to move it down so that it is between Addon Scenery and Propeller Objects
