But I will tell you that if you do decide to purchase and install them, you will love Aerosoft's German Airport Series, especially GAP 3. They are FPS friendly, alive with AES Lite vehicle traffic and are fantastic value for the money.Good luck with that reinstall - it's a real pain but the nice thing when you're done is that you will have a far cleaner install than before - at least that's what happened to me.
December 2, 201015 yr Real Germany may be fine if you're a real fan of photoreal scenery. It isn't a very fresh product, so I wouldn't expect a masterpiece quality of the terrain. You can think of Scenery Germany instead. It is divided into four parts and adds a lot of VFR details for flying in Germany. Part 4 enhances e.g. the city of Frankfurt and its area. They are mosre or less compatible with UTE if you're using it (you'll need some patches for those). Also they are priced quite low now (less than 20 euro, incl.VAT).

With Real Germany, although it is photoreal, the sensation you get when flying over it is of very dull and almost lifeless scenery particularly when flying anywhere below about 5000feet (in this sense it is similar to the Just Flight VFR UK scenery which, though photoreal, is also very dull). I have in fact uninstalled all of my Real Germany scenery from FS9 and find I get a much nicer and more realistic experience with a combination of GE Pro, Ultimate Terrain Europe and the Scenery Germany products (the latter also gives you a lot of additional airfield scenery). I guess if you lived in Germany or knew the area very well and wanted the configuration of towns, fields etc to be perfectly accurate, then photorealistic scenery such as Real Germany would be of value, but when you are just trying to create a realistic flying environment, photoreal scenery is not always the answer. I hope this helps you when coming to a decision!Bill
