December 6, 201015 yr Author Thanks again for the responses. I was looking at 8500 for a quick second but like I said I didn't wanna go overboard with costs. This will be my new "WideFS pc" in a few weeks. Not even sure I'll have a need to bump the clocks on it anymore at that point.Haven't fully decided yet and I'm outta town til Wed. That's when I will place an order.Rob Rob Simmons
December 14, 201015 yr Author Just a bump to say thanks for the support. I ended up buying up set 2x2 set of GSkill 8500 for $90. Bumped it up a bit from 1066 to 1089 and I'm very happy with the results. Can't believe it was was such an easy fix that kept me grounded for half the year. Well I will just call it a learning experience. Now I'm looking ahead for Intel's new stuff next year :-)Rob Rob Simmons

Two quick calls to Crucial and they replaced them with (2x2GB). Easy peasy.
