December 9, 201015 yr A week ago I got a new GTX470.Works great in FS9. Works great in FC2. Works great in DCS A10C.Performance in FSX is great minus one issue that annoys me a lot. When in FSX DX9 mode the 2Dpanel gauges are blurred. When running DX10 they are clear. Running the latest 260.99 Nvidia drivers. Went through 4 or 5 different versions of drivers. They all display the same blurred 2D gauges. Tried all the workarounds with Nvidia inspector etc. found on the SImflight forums. No luck. Here are two screenshots to illustrate the issue :FS9 or FSX-DX10 mode FSXDX9 modeAnybody have any suggestions folks ?Thanks
December 25, 201015 yr Commercial Member It's because AA doesn't work in DX10 mode. What you're seeing there with the blurring in DX9 is the supersampling AA doing its thing - it AAs the whole scene regardless of what's there. You'll notice that even the text in the FSX menus blurs when you use 8xS mode. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
December 26, 201015 yr ...Anybody have any suggestions folks ?ThanksUse nVIDIA Inspector to set up a profile for FSX. Good guide here by Nick Needham: http://www.simforums.com/Forums/nhancer-settings-for-new-drivers-updated-v1932_topic36586.htmlHope you get your problems solved!
January 6, 201115 yr nVidia Inspector seems to do the same function as "manage 3d settings" in the nVidia control panel already. Why would I need inspector? (most recent drivers/versions installed for GTS450) Aleksandar Djordjevic

January 10, 201115 yr I know nHancer doesn't work for newer drivers, but NV Inspector does? Aleksandar Djordjevic
