Ground textures fade away at 4x speed.

Featured Replies

Since I have used *******'s online cfg optimazation tool, my sim runs very smooth with the exception that when I fly at any sim speed other than 1x,my ground textures turn into one big blur. If I slow the sim back to 1x, they return to normal. I never had this problem with my old cfg. Unfortunately my old cfg file is gone because I have updated the cfg file online since then. Any ideas?Bob G.

Yep, your system can't keep up at that rate and that is simply what causes the blurring. If your cfg has bufferpools use pools 0, try changing to bufferpools use pools 1.That should hopefully fix it.If not, *******'s tool saves a copy of your old cfg, so you should be able to retrieve it by goingback to the tool.IAN

Hi IAN. The new config has just a line for buffer pools with no setting for 1 or 0 with the new config. I doubt whether my old config is saved because I have updated it several times.I did try adding PoolSize 1 or 0 with no luck. Bob G.
