Hey Dan, I love to use your knowledge to solve my problems! Big%20Grin.gifPerhaps you can help me again. :Thinking:I have bought the weather radar for the JS41, but I don't know how to implement it right. In one of the TURBOPROP threads I saw a picture of your JS41 VC with the weather radar. So I'm hoping you can help me with that?!?!Greetz from Germany

Which weather radar? If you bought the RealityXP radar, there is nothing to do other than install it. Place your mouse over the radar screen in the VC and you should see something like this:You control the different functions of the radar by placing your mouse over the green blobs and using your mouse buttons - details are in the radar documentation.

Tom, I've done all of that but can't seem to avoid the RealityXP weather radar's bezel from showing up as well within the J4100 radar bezel. The frustrating thing is that I've previously flown the J4100 without this problem...it was when I switched to Win7 64-bit and reinstalled both FSX and the J4100 that the problem arose. A forum search reveals that others have had this problem, but the suggested solutions haven't worked for me.I thought I'd raise it once more in the hope that I'm overlooking something obvious.

Do you have the RXPWX500.INI file in your FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG_JS4100 directory? This is what mine looks like when viewed in Notepad:[sETTINGS]Wx500Popup=15500NoFrame=On

Pretty sure I do but will check later when I'm home in front of the FSX PC, thanks. What I don't think I have is the "NoFrame=On" entry...hope it's as simple as that.

I this the one to go for in the J41?WX500Does it only work as a pop-up window or is it visible on the panel at all times?

Interesting thread - thanks for the link. Sounds as though Dan had problems though, although other seem to have it working ok. Does this suggest there are compatibility issues? Is it compatible with weather addons such as REX, ASE?
