I've used Toni's Miami and Ft. Lauderdale city scenery, however for some reason even though it has night textures in the texture folder, the building dont light up at night. So I quit using them until they can correct that. As far as everything else I haven't tried any of it. Instead I have just stuck with the improvements Ultimate Terrain makes for the area.

Are the improvements good enough to justify the purchase of Ultimate Terrain? I fly in the South Florida region about 75% of the time and would greatly appreciate any upgrades for that area in particular. The missing bridges and the wrong landclass in areas are a real disappointment. Would it be possible for you to provide a couple of screen shots? (particularly around MIA, downtown and port of Miami areas?)Also, is the framerate impact a major one with Ultimate Terrain? (my system is an oldie but goodie...) ;)Thanks!

Since Ultimate Terrain is a Flight1 product, you will have 30 days to decide if it's worth the money or not. I don't think you'll be asking for a refund. There are plenty of preview picture available, see the available PDF or Flash demos; http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=utxusaAny performance hit will arise due to increased vehicle traffic, but if you don't plan on simulating I-95 northbound out of Miami at 5:00pm you should be able to find a sweet spot for your system

Thank you, Meshman. I'll certainly consider checking it out, since it does have that 30 day guarantee.

Yeah if I get a chance I will post some pics for you around that area later today perhaps. As far as performance hit there is none really, unless you run the stock UT2 traffic files for the vehicles after one of the updates. Off the top of my head I cant remember which update it was, but they fixed some holes in the car traffic and by doing so it increased it so much that I went from running around 40% with no FPS hit, to having to run around 5%. However, now I am running the traffic reusing the old trafic files that came with the first version and renaming the new ones to something else. If you want to revert to the old traffic files for better FPS let me know and I will direct you to the link.

Thank you!! Looking forward to those print-screens.I'm just wanting to be sure before ordering. I know about the 30 day trial, but I'd rather be certain and not have to deal with any return issues.(Dreaming of an Orbx designed Florida scenery...) sigh...
