December 24, 201015 yr Hello Col. Scott,You knew someone was going to ask this question sooner or later! :( I have the GoFlight MCP Pro (yes..more money than sense, and considering how much money I really have, that's puts me well down on the "sense" ladder as well). I would very much like to use the MCP Pro to drive the new Sperry 177 autopilot. Are there any key commands or offsets programed that allow external devices to drive the knobs and buttons on the Sperry 177 other than the course knob and the heading knob? Those two knobs are controlable through MSFS.Once again, thanks a great Christmas present!!! :)Rich Richard Boll Wichita, KS

I don't know how the GoFlight modules communicate with FS. If they're capable of sending and/or receiving data via FSUIPC, that's quite doable. But I don't have any GoFlight gear...I use PFC stuff, so the same money/brain ratio issues exist here :( I'd need somebody to provide me an SDK of some sort, and to do the testing.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
December 24, 201015 yr The GoFlight MCP Pro does interface with FS via FSUIPC. If the Tinmouse is responsive to mouse macros then, absent a driver, that would be the best course. You might also be able to control the MCP Pro lights with a bit of Lua programming.Jim Harnes

I know that GoFlight's MCP Pro will communicate with the basic MSFS configuration. In other words, on the default B737NG, turning the altitude selector knob changes the digits in the ASEL window and pressing the MCP buttons causes a cooresponding key press on the B737's MCP. I don't know if this information helps. Thanks again!Rich Richard Boll Wichita, KS
December 24, 201015 yr For what it's worth:http://www.goflightinc.com/software.shtml#sdkJim HarnesI took a look at the GoFlight SDK...there's no mention of FSUIPC, and it dates 8.5 years back to Apr 2002--long before the MCP Pro or most of their other products showed up. The only device interfaces documented there are the GF-45, GF-T8, GF-LGT, and GF-166. Their forums are absolutely dead, too...the most recent activity there was mid-2008.Unfortunately, judging by their website, GoFlight looks to be going the way of the dodo bird, and there really doesn't appear to be any current info to work with on designing an interface.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
