December 28, 201015 yr Hello, I purchased the maddog version if fs2crew for the maddog 2010. I was reading the manual and it says to set up speech recognition in windows 7. When I go to do that, my computer doesn't 'hear' me. I don't get it because when i go to the sound recorder in w7, the microphone works fine. I know the problem doesn't lie within fs2crew, but rather w7. 'i was just hoping you could help trouble shoot this issue. Do I need to download anything from Microsoft or do I need a new microphone? Do I need to download anything from Microsoft or do I need a new microphone?Hi,If you're using Windows 7, speech recognition is built in.It needs to be set to English - US, not English - UK or AU.Are you using an English version of Win 7?You should run the Voice training. In the 'Search' box in the Windows Start menu, type "speech recognition".That's the easiest way to find the Windows Speech Recognition Page.Best, B.
