December 28, 201015 yr http://micropoll.com/t/KEqVEZBsWtThis is the link for the poll. Your vote won't be official until I 'open it' here. It will count but I will reset it when I finally have an appropriate list.Put your suggestions here. I want to start the poll by the 30th December 2010.ONLY US airports and NO other scenery. Leave that for another day or start a new topic please. Thanks.
December 28, 201015 yr ONLY US airports and NO other sceneryThat's as good as saying Europe does'nt exist? Not a very freindly statement or Poll! :( Remember there are more simmers east of the U.S.Had you included more, you would get a more favourable response. :( Dave Taylor
December 28, 201015 yr That's as good as saying Europe does'nt exist? Not a very freindly statement or Poll! :( Remember there are more simmers east of the U.S.Had you included more, you would get a more favourable response. :(I think it is much easier to separate regions/countries since there are so many freeware products. And it is a chance to honor those who have been creating products.Maybe you should start a poll yourself if you don't like mine. I love flying in Europe FYI. It is if you haven't realized just so much to cover in freeware, it is better to focus on each area, like a map book.To take offense is slightly immature. And to say that "That's as good as saying Europe does'nt exist? " is inflammatory. I think 'does'nt' is spelt 'doesn't. That is putting words in someone's mouth. As I said, if you don't like it go do your own poll. I will do one myself, but right now I am creating a US scenery top list, as specific by area. This is also helpful to simmers who want to download some quality freeware.I will do an Asian and Europe scenery (and Middle East) poll soon. But hold your horses mate.
December 28, 201015 yr Good luck with your poll.I'll mention KBOS by George Grimshaw and (shortly to surface) Portland (KPDX) by Orbyx. http://www.vanisleva.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=58408&sid=f58e2e5999321df534a3926a39cebc94 Dave Taylor
December 28, 201015 yr I've just voted for Joe DeGregorio's KBTR. The scenery was memorable, besides being known to being frame rate friendly, loads and loads of detail have been laboured into the scenery. Should have KMSP being added, though. Morgan did a great job with the scenery objects. Dave. December 29, 201015 yr I'll add KMSP.And to those folks nominating FSX scenery, this is a FS2004 forum. That means FS2004 scenery.

December 29, 201015 yr Here's a few I would mention - all available here on AVSIM1. KPLN Pellston. Needs a higher end computer to fully enjoy it but if you can run it, it's fantastic2. KPHL by SunSky Jet. Absolutely top-end payware quality - needs a minor patch (coming soon) and wish it would get AES support but it's fantastic just as it is3. Flyscenery Meigs - can be configured as it was when operating or right after the Chicago mobster aka the Mayor closed it down4. KGFL Glenn Falls - another payware quality airport5. All airports by Shez - I especially like KSNA but they're all excellentIan

December 31, 201015 yr OK Dave I'll get to it soon. What's going on with my link to the KIAH scenery? For a while it was still there, and then now, it's gone, all of a sudden! Dave. December 31, 201015 yr What's going on with my link to the KIAH scenery? For a while it was still there, and then now, it's gone, all of a sudden! Dave.I think KIAH link is having a holiday this new years ;). Seriously I think people have a few Gremlins with links on this forum. I think its like a blog, you can just write any text then click the 'paperclip' symbol and attach whatever URL you like. I am not a forum expert so I'll let someone add their 'take' on it.In the 'pre poll' we had 35 votes' and taking the lead is Phliadelphia. Two party contest, Philadelphia with 49% and Boston 34%.
