Fokker 50 Panel Project v3.4 Released

Featured Replies

Hi all!I have released v3.4 of my Fokker 50 panel now. You can download the update from my website http://home.c2i.net/fokker50I believe I have successfully taken care of the crashing problem experienced with the previous release of the Fokker 50. The panel works just fine on my system now. However, with all the different hardware configurations out there I can't be 100% certain the panel will work on every system. I would really apprechiate it if you could report back to me if this update is successful on your system, or if you are still experiencing crashes. The Night lighting issues has not been resolved. Eventually, if you play around with the night lighting to much, it will crash FS. I still haven't figured this one out. This problem is related to the pedestal dome light and the main panel flood lights.Other fixes in this release:- Heading/course 10 degree increments finally fixed. No need to use FSUIPC for a quick fix.- Option added to disable all sound in the panel. Note that this does not disable all sound, just panel sounds.- EADI IAS/VS click area adjusted.- IAS hold function optimized.- Electronic Engine Control system optimized.- Panel saves and loads external lights knobs positions.I have also released a cumulative update for the panel which updates the release version v3.0 to v3.4. Thanks a lot Espen !Twister

HiWhich Fokker-50 aircraft would you recomend for fs2004 that will use this panel. Thanks

Check out http://www.dreamwingsdesign.com/ for a nice Fokker 50 aircraft model.Espen

Tim,don't use DAP, I got the same thing (with Netscape). I got the file using IE and no DAP. And by the way, I can't get rid of the darn thing! Never another d/l accelerator!Espen, thank you very much for the update! :)Regards,JureBush Flying Unlimited]"At home in the wild"[/i

Hello Epsen,I can't seem to get the update. When I try either the 3.3 to 3.4 update or the cumluative it only gets like 4kb file and WinZip can't open it and says it doesn't appear to be a valid archive. :-hmmmJim

Any compatibility issues with FS2002, or is this only functional in 2004? Thanks for the fantastic work, this is a fun panel!-John

File not found error when trying to d/l EF50V34C.ZIP. Tried it with IE and Star Downloader, in both cases same result.Jozef http://www.dse.nl/~joker32/pictures/signature.jpg

It seems some of you guys are having problems downloading the new files. I managed to download the files without problems using IE. Anyway, I have uploaded the cumulative update (v3.0 to v3.4) to the AVSIM file library. It should appear in the new files list shortly.

Hi EspenSince installing the update, I have lost all aircraft and panel sounds completely. Nothing at all! Neither in the Dreamwings version nor in the version that comes with the panel that incidently has no props!Very frustrating. It was working fine before!Later:- I reverted back to version 3.3 and the sounds are all back. Seems to be something in the 3.4 gau file.RegardsTimhttp://www.spottedantelope.com/bwomack/ima...aam-sim_sig.gif

Hi, Have spent a couple of hours with this and get as far as the engines running and then it kicks me out back to the desk top. Think I,ve got panel updated ok. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Espen,Thanks for the new 3.4 update. I hate to report that I am experiencing the same issues as before 3.4, in addition to some others. Here is my config: P4 2.6 with 1GB Ram and ATI Radeon 9700 PRO 128MB .. Win XP PRO SP1 and Direct X 9.0a, Registered version of FSUIPC 3.11, using a Logitech Wingman Extreme stick. I always run in windows mode, not full screen. No special scenery .. just stock MSFS Seattle Tacoma, and my favorite ... Tahiti.I tried four separate flights, confirmed the 10/29 .gau file, deleted the .ini between each try .. twice with the metzger/klose model, twice with the dreamwings model, Here are the issues:1. crash to desktop .. consistently after takeoff .. symptoms including EADI and EHSI loss, blinking, labels only.2. no sounds on engine start, or checklists .. however one out of three times, I got the V1 Rotate, positive climb .. etc callouts and then the checklists functioned. This is new, checklists and callouts functioned perfectly for me prior to 3.4.3. on the center console, the t/o config and other "test" buttons do not function. These have not been functioning since the first update and continue not to function for me.I REALLY appreciate your efforts at fixing this wonderful A/C and I am very happy that I still can fly it in FS2002. Please let me know if I can do anything to help .. test, whatever.

Tried to install to the Dream Wings folder and received a message that there is nothing to update?Anyone have a clue what I am doing wrong? Thanks,Guy
