Imaginesim Overpriced?

Recommended Posts

Is there ANY kind of discount for the FSX scenery if you already own the FS9? I am sure this has been discussed before but just look. FSDT DFW scenery 22EUR for BOTH FS9 and FSX. ImagineSim KATL for JUST FSX is 29US. No question on which company to stick with there.

That's why I refuse to buy anything else from them. And they aren't even in the same league as FSDT or FlyTampa.

I've been debating with myself for awhile of buying KATL (its a Delta Hub), it would be perfect for the NGX seeing as it's pretty central USA so it be nice to hoop around the USA but I donno, there screenshots dont look good, they dont have a forum etc etc.

I am not a huge fan of ImagineSim but their KATL is not that bad with the exception of the night approach lights and you will also need to mipmap the textures to get rid of the ImagineSim signature shimmer all of the airports come with (free of charge) LOL. If you do get it dont expect ANY technical support whatsoever from them as well as any fixes or patches to any problems you may have. With that being said and the fact that KATL is not offered by anybody else ImagineSim is your only choice. There is a KATL in the library I was using before which was pretty nice which you could also use. Here is the light issue I speak of:2010-3-5_18-20-58-578.jpgand a link to a vid I made at KATL:

I know if you own the FSX version the FS9 version is free, is that not the same if you already own the FS9 version? In my simmarket account it has download links for both.
