January 2, 201115 yr Wonder if some one could help me with this little problem.Since I think the taxispeed with the Captain Sim C-130 is too high, even if that is the way it is suppose to be IRL, I wonder is there any changes I can do in the aircraft-cfg to slow down/change the taxispeed of the Herc.?Best RegardsPer Ståhle
January 2, 201115 yr Hi PerIt is some since I have flown the C130 however I have spent a few years (some time ago now) working with the real aeroplane. Two thoughts come to mind:1. Are you taxying in 'Flt Idle' (approx 34 deg on the quadrant) or have you/can you select 'Ground Idle' (aprox 18 deg on the quadrant)? If you are in Flight Idle that is quite a lot of power for taxying.2. If you are definately in 'Ground Idle' there is a further setting achievable with four buttons situated immedaitely behind the throttle quadrant called LSGI or 'Low Speed Ground Idle'. I cannot remember if they are operable. If they are try selecting engine specific combinations of Ground Idle and LSGI to reduce the taxy speed. If none of the above works then as a last resort consider taxying on 2 and 3 only with 1 and 4 feathered. As far as I know there is no variation available in the .cfg file to address this problem although someone out there may know better. You might also be aware of the famous Hercules mantra: 'Constant Speed, Variable Noise!' Good Luck - Roger

January 2, 201115 yr I find that using 2 & 3 to taxi and leaving 1 & 4 at idle works for me !!G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
