From i920 to 2600K

But apparently, 920 won't burn as easily as SB will do. I have mine at pretty high voltages, 1.45 set in BIOS, 4.2 without any power saving I think, running all the time. Watercooled though and in summer I get temps up to 80c, but the CPU can take up to 95, so I guess I'm OK. Never seen someone burn 920 through such "normal" overclocking. Now already some burned SB CPUs... Kind of party-pooper, wouldn't you agree?
We need to wait and see regarding how many burn ups occur and why. It may be that the memory volts are too high. Not sure what % overvolt you have on your 920 but my 2600K is being overvolted by around 30% at 4.6Ghz. Imagine over voting you 240v electric razor by 30%. 312V should give a pretty good shave.

LOL, come on, can't compare silica-chips to electromotor! And my bad... it's not 1.45, but 1.4 I think, which is stable at 4.2 for me. And gives me OK temps. How much in %? No idea what the stock is
