January 18, 201115 yr Sometimes near the end of a flight I receive a OOM error and the flight stops. I fly heavies with FS2004, RC4 and FDC Live cotpit. I also (throught FSUIPC) save a flight every 5 minutes. I can restart FS2004 with the "saved flight" and also restart FDC but I can not figgure out how to "restart" RC4 in mid flight. Is it possibe and if so how do you do it? Thanks jerrycwo4
January 18, 201115 yr Moderator Jerry,You need to load the last saved RCD which will load the flight and RC plan so they are coordinated again. Those are normally saved at regular intervals through your flight once the aircraft is airborne. Page 118 covers the details. Ray (Cheshire, England). Please explain?Thank youALAL,I can't explain it any differently to how it's explained in the manual. Search for "Load Previous Saved .RCDs" and it should give you all the help you need, Ray (Cheshire, England). It works here. :( Ray (Cheshire, England). February 6, 201115 yr I am trying to find FLIGHT SIMULATOR FILES ON YODA find nothing. I am trying to find files .rcd but there is nothing and I did saved file with cnt alt ;. I don't know what is going on.Al
February 6, 201115 yr The .rcd files should be saved in the same folder with your .pln, .wx, .flr in a folder under your documents called Flight Simulator Files or Flight Simulator X Files or similar. Under Win XP here is the path for FS9 in my setup:"C:\Documents and Settings\Ron Ginsberg\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files"In the screen shot the KSUW title was the name of the saved flight I loaded. If you are using autosave.dll it has its own naming convention so it still should be in that folder. See the instructions for setting the path in the download of autosave.dll if you use that method. Otherwise RC will use the path you specified in its setup to .flt, .wx, .pln files as in my sample path above.

February 7, 201115 yr I just found the problem. It was teh path. It work now however my CDU with my PMDG planes are not saved but PSS 777 have CDU save as well.ThanksAl
February 7, 201115 yr PMDG FMC plans have their own format and RC can't use them. They are kept in a dedicated folder within the PMDG folder under your FS folder and will not help you. An alternative would be a flight planner that exports to both FS formats and PMDG FMC formats. See this topic for some comments:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/326574-run-out-of-waypoints-before-handed-off-to-approach/For PMDG 737NG and 747 FMCs you can save plans you created in them but they do not export to FS format. To load a plan exported by a compatible planner into those FMC's do Index/Navigation/FlightPlans and you'll get list. Key on the plan name and it will go into the scratchpad area. Now go to RTE page 1 and key CO_ROUTE and it will load. Activate, make any changes, and EXE it. I just found the problem. It was teh path. It work now however my CDU with my PMDG planes are not saved but PSS 777 have CDU save as well.ThanksAl
