Hi allDoes anyone know what is happening with AirSimmer? It's been a few weeks since I last checked their support forum website and was suprised to see almost the entire forum has vanished with the exception of "read-only" and "protected" (i.e. paying customers only) sections remaining. I have a feeling that this developer has gone belly-up going by the current state of their forum. I made a post asking what is happening only for it to be deleted! I can honestly say it was a clean, non-judgemental enquiry simply trying to find out what is happening. Seems that this is the way they are doing things over there now - perfectly legitimate (yes, mostly critical but not offensive) posts being deleted and forum-goers being suspended/banned. It's a shame there is no regulation of this industry to weed out the bad eggs - not that I am saying AS is one of them. Having said that, I've pretty much given up hope that they will ever recover from the disaster that is their Basic Edition A320.So, in short - just out of curiosity, does anyone know what's happening with AirSimmer???

Hi,I suspect, having a very suspicious mind, that removing all the other posts will help with their sales. It is a well known fact that they are/were in a financial crisis and to keep from going under need all the cash they can get their tainted little hands on. It would be my guess that most people going onto that site with the intention of making a purchase would run a mile when they see what has been written. Strangely enough I had just made comment about how a group in the UK "gamersvoice.org.uk" were in the process of taking legal action against the developers of COD black ops and had reported them to the office of fair trading. Maybe they didn't want any of their customers getting ideas ????????As you rightly say their reputation, if you can call it that, is in tatters and most likelu unrecoverable. Unfortunately they only have themselves to blame. If only they had actually bothered with some customer service and/or used someone as a vocal point whose primary concern was not deleting posts. A little bit of honesty instead of hiding behind riddles and lies may have kept some of the support.Karl

Your getting really boring, they should have done this a long time ago, all you see on the open forums is spam and 11 year old kids complaining.I for one was getting sick of all the crap over there, zero community except in the private tech forum, guys shouting there heads off when they dont even own the product anymore....

Getting? Try having been. It's indeed a boring topic. But I made a decision to blow the whistle. Boring? busy body? yes it's indeed all that. But for about 2 minutes every other week or so? Eh...I'll stick to it. It costs me nothing and serves them right in very (and very) small ways. yes it's a bit extreme but in the grand scheme of balance there are always extreme positions from the center. I happen to take a far right one in this case. Is that okay with you? "YOUR" getting? I thought you brits hate it when people butcher your language. Care to stop doing that yourself? :(

Besides I didn't realise I was typing a cover letter to my next employer.Yes you are extremely boring, some of you guy's need to get together and start a hate blog and let the rest of the planet know that Airsimmer is really run by the Russian mafia and are currently sipping cocktails in the seychelles from the masive profits.. I think that half the trouble here is that non-one knows, and as a result of the lack of anything from AS rumours will emerge and will grow. Who knows maybe some of them are right. The fact is that the lack of any decent responses has led to this. And when "facts" did emerge there was never really any true answers from them just riddles or a complete lack of anything. I can't comment on what goes on in the tech forum but you would hope that they would do something to encourage potential buyers to hang around or have some faith that there will be a decent end product. I would have dearly loved to have had this product but am so glad I didn't !!Karl
