January 29, 201115 yr I have 25 USD for an addon, which should i getAlex Lamott Because I'm a POTATO! Alex Lamott Desktop: i7 2600k @ 3.9 ghz, ATI Radeon 1GB 6870, 525W Alienware Aurora case, Alienware Liquid Cooling, 8GB Dual channel DDR3 Ram @ 1333Mhz, 2TRB Raid 0 HD, HP 2509b 1920 x 1080, FSX Gold Edition Laptop: Dell Inspiron 14R, Pentium T4300 @ 2.1GHZ, Integrated Graphics, 320 GB HD :(
January 29, 201115 yr You're kidding, right? If you're looking for a plane, just forget it because even the worst plane ever made for FSX cost more than $25 and an average addon cost more than $40. But if you want a really good plane, you'd better start saving some money. If you only have 25 bucks, keep the money and download a freeware plane, like Project OpenSky. They have Boeing, Airbus, CRJ... Matheus Mafra
January 29, 201115 yr There are only few good scenery and tools under $25...but both are useless without a good plane...Cheers, Paolo Fumagalli "Everyday is a new flight, with new system to learn, new failures to prevent and new database to update..."
January 29, 201115 yr Author I have the PMDG Md-11, just need something else like a fuel planner, sorry I didn't say that first. Alex Lamott Because I'm a POTATO! January 29, 201115 yr Get TOPCAT. It's not expensive and it's a great performance calculator and supports all PMDG aircrafts. There's a demo version available for download, but you'll only have the 747 data. Nevertheless you can see all the features working. Edited January 29, 201115 yr by barfra1995 Matheus Mafra

January 30, 201115 yr TOPCAT is more for takeoffs and landings data...but it can be used also for loadsheet and fuel planner....From the same developers team, come a flight planner with fuel planner that it's in developement now...they expect to release it in April/August...I'm waiting for it, if you don't need to have a planner now, you can wait and buy this one, i can bet it will be amazing!Cheers, Paolo Fumagalli "Everyday is a new flight, with new system to learn, new failures to prevent and new database to update..."

January 30, 201115 yr Commercial Member The Carenado Bonanza is just a bit more than $25 and I love that plane. It really helps it to have the RXP gauges/GPS though and those do add to the cost. You could get an ORBX airport for $25, EZ Dok Camera addon etc. TOPCAT is a good choice too. January 30, 201115 yr I'd strongly recommend TOPCAT, it's incredibly useful. It does a great job precisely loading the aircraft, and it's takeoff/landing calculations are invaluable, it really creates a strong assurance that you will actually be able to takeoff/land.
January 30, 201115 yr Author Everybody, thank you for the suggestions, I'll probably look into TOPCAT.Cheers, Alex Lamott Because I'm a POTATO! January 30, 201115 yr I got Contrails Pro a few months back. Basically it produces contrails for aircraft at altitude. These custom contrails are WAY better than the stock FSX ones in my opinion, in that they are visible at anywhere up to a hundred or so miles away, and can be made to remain visible for several minutes behind the aircraft. With a bit of fine-tuning of these values, the depiction of persistent contrails at altitude is a HUGE boost to the immersion I get in cruise. It has turned out to be one of the surprise 'best-buys' of the last few years for me.http://www.flightsimtools.com/contrails/(For the record I don't believe the screenshots on the site do the product justice. The overall effect is a lot more realistic than the images suggest.) Mark Adeane - NZWN
