January 31, 201115 yr I will likely need to do a reinstall (or repair) on the same PC but would like to keep my add-ons. I have a huge installation (91GB) so reinstalling everything (AND customizing thereafter) is a pain...trying to avoid that...I remember reading a how-to a while back but cannot find it any more..Any tips or pointers would be very welcome....Thanks

January 31, 201115 yr I guess backing up your FS9 folder in your "C/Users/Username/App" (win7),your scenery.cfg and your texture folder.Ditto.. I had to do this once, I used a portable drive to move everything on to, my AI traffic, acft, scneery, etc and once I assured that all worked, I did a full reinstall, clean up, etc. Everything got moved back and restored quite nicely. Just make a few cups of coffee and sit back and relax, can take some time to do though.
