Brakes issue

Featured Replies

Hello fellow pilots.I recently bought the AOA training for the MD-11. On the first flight from EGLL to LEPA I noticed that my brakes weren't working on the taxi out to the runway. I followed the video tutorial correctly (as far as I'm aware) and have done many a start up in the MD-11 before without this issue. The brakes are being recognised in FSX, as I can see the red "Brakes" text appear at the bottom of the screen when applying the toe brakes. This also applies with the auto brake as well. I have searched the forum and found a few people with the same issues but can't find a fix.Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Are you using FSUIPC for the brake axes in FSX? I removed them, just sticking with the FSX assignment. Works fine all the time now, as well as autobrake landings...Andrew

Yes I am. I'll try going back to using the brakes through FSX's controller settings. Thanks for your help

This is an issue with the save file for that flight - if you reload the aircraft once you've loaded the flight the brakes should work. I had the same issue....very strange.
