can anyone tell me why my fps is only 6 to 15 on a quad core high end pc . xp operating sys. sliders set 3/4 and no weather.i have everything set up as per operating manual [ i get 35-45 fps on level-d 767] dick b

Hi, first of all we have a rule to sign our post with full real names, otherwise moderators will delete or lock them.Secondly, we all have low FPS on J41, thats because it's very detailed aircraft, it was also designed as testbed for new "technologies" required to create newest addon 737NG X. The best way to get high FPS is to overclock Your CPU (if it's possible) to somewhere around 4GHz as most of us did.EDIT:Of course you can use PMDG Configuration Manager to set lower details in you VC and External Model, it should improve performance significantly.

It runs fine on my system, but curiously when i start the right engine (left already running) for about 5 seconds it becomes a slide show. After about 5 seconds all fine again. No such effect is seen when starting the left engine

Edit the settings in the PMDG config, set the right to refresh around 25% or left if you sit right seat. That should help your fps is the VC.Tom Bergman
