February 5, 201115 yr Does anyone know if anyone has made night Textures for Bluesky's scenery. I love the scenery but dosn't do much good If I have to unload it everytime I fly at night. Thanks
February 5, 201115 yr There isn't, no. However, I found that BSS together with Ultimate Terrain USA gives a spectacular view! February 5, 201115 yr I never found it to be too problematic. I always install a given area into one folder instead of the many that comes in the downloads, so when I want to deactivate it, I just have to click off one scenery in the list.Robert Robert J. February 6, 201115 yr I have all my Bluesky scenery in one folder .... "Bluesky HI -RES Ground Textures"In that folder there's a scenery & texture folder for the relevant files. Then add the "Bluesky HI -RES Ground Textures" folder into the FS Scenery Library. Mine is at level 2Hope this helps.Pete.
February 6, 201115 yr Yep, just throw everything into one "scenery" and one "texture" folder. I arrange mine in little areas with the big airport as the name for a given area so I can remember easily which is which.Robert Robert J. I name my folders to the area of interest, so I have folders called "Las vegas", "Los Angeles" and "San Francisco". In it, I have a folder for the high-res textures, for the underlying low-res textures, and a folder specifically for objects (such as the "Downtown Los Angeles" scenery by BSS). February 7, 201115 yr Hi,I currently have both BSS and UT USA,is there anyway I can merge it so that there is night texture in the BSS's areas? You don't have to merge it. The lights simply display on top of the BSS photoscenery. Or, at least, that's what happened on my setup... I actually didn't expect to see the UTUSA lights appear above the photoscenery, but they do. February 7, 201115 yr I have UT below BSS. But seriously, just experiment... Place UT below BSS and see what happens. If that doesn't work, turn it around and see what happens. You won't FUBAR your FS9 installation by experimenting a little with scenery priority in the scenery library. I've asked the author if there is any way that I can have night texture with his sceneries and he answered no,I think he should update this information Hoang Le i7 13700k - Sapphire Nitro+ AMD RX 7900 XT - Asus TUF Z790 PLUS D4 - Gskill Trident 32GB DDR4-3600 LG 34GP63A-B Ultrawide - ASUS VG259QM MSFS2020
February 7, 201115 yr Author Thanks a lot. I've asked the author if there is any way that I can have night texture with his sceneries and he answered no,I think he should update this information Well, My UT night Textures work fine with Bluesky. The only thing I needed to change was I had to uncheck Residental Roads in UT because it was really messing up BSS. (Roads drawn through baseball fields, ect)
